1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account (name, email, username), list or purchase cards (transaction data, shipping addresses), and use the platform (activity logs, device info).
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the marketplace, process transactions, send order updates and notifications, prevent fraud, and improve Pitlane. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Payment processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
4. Communications
We send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, payouts) and, if opted in, product announcements. You can manage notification preferences in Settings at any time.
5. Data sharing
We share data with third-party services necessary to operate Pitlane — including Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Heroku (hosting), and Google (optional sign-in). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g. tax records for completed transactions).
7. Your rights
You can update your profile and preferences in Settings. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. To request a data export or raise a privacy concern, email privacy@pitlane.market.
8. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the platform is used. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
